Hello everyone, this is MARINA, a singer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture!
Let’s go~☆

Before I get to the main topic, I would first like to take this opportunity to apologize for the horrible typos in my last blog (in Japanese edition). I’m terribly sorry(>_<). I’m a pretty careless person and I’m already an expert when it comes to typos! (This is just an excuse.)😁

I didn’t even know how to use a computer at all, and I’ve been using it a lot since I started my solo career, and I’ve only recently gotten used to it, but here I am… However, thanks to the kindness of everyone who reads my blog, I’m writing this blog today with no complaints. I love you all❤️!

I’ll do my best to reduce the number of typos I make, so please keep going easy on me☺️

So let’s get down to the main topic !
You are interested in the title, aren’t you?

Yes! Today, I’d like to talk to you about the specialties of Kumamoto, which you may not know about…

The rainy season is finally over across the country and summer is finally here!!!!
Summer heat has arrived.💦

There’s a fruit you’ll want to eat in summer. Yes, that is watermelon!

熊本植木のすいかの里さんより参照しております。

For some reason, I want to eat it in the summer.
That watermelon is the hidden specialty of Kumamoto!

I’m surprised at how many people don’t know about it.
When I came to Tokyo and was asked about Kumamoto’s specialties, there were many people who knew about horse sashimi, but no one had ever mentioned the word “watermelon” to me.

I also didn’t know about it until I was in high school.
My parents used to sing a song about ‘the famous watermelon region 🎵’ and I wondered what that was, but when they told me that it was Kumamoto!, I still remember how surprised I was.

You may start wondering where in Kumamoto? Actually, Ueki Town in Kumamoto is the number one watermelon producing area in Japan!

The annual shipment of watermelons from Ueki Town exceeds 50,000 tons, accounting for nearly 20% of the total shipment in Japan. And watermelon cultivation professionals from all over the country come together!🍉

It is said that watermelons have been cultivated in Kumamoto Prefecture since the Warring States period, and while there are many excellent watermelons in the prefecture, the watermelons of Ueki are a particularly famous brand☆

The watermelons from Kumamoto are blessed by the strong sunshine of the southern island of Kyushu, and they absorb more light and heat in their greenhouses, making them big, sweet and delicious!

While doing some research, I found a place that I was interested in, and it seems there is a roadside station called “Suika no Sato Ueki (Watermelon Village Ueki)” in Ueki Town, which is famous for producing the best watermelons in Japan🎵

I’m curious about this one〜! I hope we can stop by for our show〜☆
They sell the best watermelons in Japan and many other extravagant and interesting products made from watermelons! Let me introduce some of them!

🍉Watermelon Baumkuchen🍉

すいかの里うえきさんより参照しております。

This baumkuchen is made with plenty of watermelon juice.
It’s moist and fluffy〜It has full of sweetness and looks delicious!❤️

🍉Farmer’s Cider🍉

すいかの里うえきさんより参照しております。

I’ve had this before! The watermelon juice is refreshing with soda and has a clean aftertaste😋
Chilled watermelon soda is the best drink in a hot summer🎵

🍉Watermelon Skin Gel🍉

すいかの里うえきさんより参照しております。

What is this…? This is actually a skin gel which contains watermelon fruit extract!!
It stretches well and blends easily into the skin, moisturizing and resilient!
I want to use it…

Suika no Sato Ueki” has such interesting products.
Let’s check it out in the future!

https://suikanosato-ueki.com

Please visit the website of Suika no Sato Ueki for more information.

I felt that there is a lot of knowledge and places I don’t know about in Kumamoto.
From now on, I’m going to tell you all about the charm of Kumamoto through my blog, and I’m going to learn more about it too!

Did you enjoy today’s blog? I hope this is something you all enjoy!❤️
I hope to see you all again next time on the blog🌈

See you next👋 by MARINA!

Hello everyone🌟 This is MARINA, a singer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture!

First of all, I have something to report to you.

Since July, our team has been planning a crowdfunding campaign to create this program, and thanks to your support throughout July, we were able to reach and exceed our funding goal, allowing us to produce this program in earnest!

Thanks to everyone’s support, I am able to start this program, and more importantly, I’m very happy to have been given the chance to move one step closer to my dream and make people around the world happy and healthy.

We’ll be bringing you many more thoughts through this show, so please look forward to it 🎵 Thank you all so much!

You saw in my last blog that MARINA is a foodie, right? 😁
If you haven’t seen the last blog, you should definitely check out the last one💛.
Today, I’d like to introduce to you “MARINA’s favorite Kumamoto souvenir“!
It’s a MARINA favorite, so no claims will be accepted! So, now let’s go!!

MARINA’s Recommended Souvenirs from Kumamoto, No.5

『Jindaiko (war drum)

香梅公式さんより参照しております。

Kobai’s “Jindaiko” is a representative sweet of Kumamoto.
There is no one who comes to Kumamoto and doesn’t buy this souvenir!

Jindaiko uses the highest quality Dainagon Red Beans. They carefully check each one for any foreign matter or defective beans and sort them by hand.😲

The sweet bean paste on the outside is as smooth as yokan (sweet bean jelly), and the inside is filled with gyuhi, which goes perfectly with the best azuki beans!🎵

The packaging is wrapped in aluminum, which is a bit unusual, but it’s an elegant souvenir.
Elderly people will be very happy to receive Jindaiko as a gift.💓 Apparently, if you bring Jindaiko as a gift for your company, you’ll get points for it.( ^ω^ )

MARINA’s Recommended Souvenirs from Kumamoto, No.4

『GOHAN NO TOMO(Friend of rice)』

(株)フタバさん公式より参照しております。

MARINA’s favorite furikake is this “GOHAN NO TOMO”.
It’s really hard to think of anything else, and it will forever be the best in the MARINA’s favorite furikakes!✨

I grew up eating this furikake, so I became 5’7″ tall!(Lol)
Because GOHAN NO TOMO is made of dried sardines! Full of Calcium.
GOHAN NO TOMO is an old-fashioned furikake, which has been around since the early Taisho era. It is considered the origin of furikake.

40% of the ingredients are dried sardines, and the sweet and spicy soy sauce, which brings out the flavor of the sardines and provides a base for seasoning, are granulated and dried to create a crunchy texture. I really love it💓

Even now that I’m in Tokyo, I still eat them! I would like you all to try it 🎵.
If you have kids, this is a great souvenir for you! Nutritious!

MARINA’s Recommended Souvenirs from Kumamoto, No.3

『Ramen Daikoku』

熊本空港サイトよろ参照しております。

Kyushu is known for its “ramen”. Kumamoto’s ramen is not only about pork bone soup.

Kumamoto’s ramen is made of pork bones with charred garlic and black ma oil!
The high-impact charred garlic will whet your appetite, plus the aroma of black ma oil adds to the deliciousness!

You can eat this Daikoku at the store, but you can also buy it as a souvenir or as a gift for yourself, which is great! You can enjoy the flavors of a great restaurant at home. It doesn’t get any better than this 🎵.
I’m reminded that ramen is so affordable now that it’s a good thing that we live in such a good age.😋

MARINA’s Recommended Souvenirs from Kumamoto, No.2

Kokuto Donatsu-bo (Brown Sugar Doughnut Stick)』

株式会社フジバンビさんサイトより参照しております。

This is one of MARIA’s favorite souvenirs!

I think there are many people who are familiar with this product by Fuji Bambi Co.
It’s also known for its cute packaging, often in the form of Kumamon!

Kokuto Donatsu-bo is made of Okinawan brown sugar and domestic flour, and they are stick shaped!

As you can see from the picture, it’s an unusual doughnut shape! It seems they are particular about the shape of the food, so there are also bite-sized versions available 💓

It’s crispy outside but fluffy inside. At first bite, it tastes like Okinawan Sâtâ-andagi, but you quickly realize it’s a doughnut.

I always end up buying some for friends and some for myself. Doughnuts may seem heavy, but once you start eating them, you can’t stop!😁
What’s more, when you eat the doughnut, it’s greasy, but it’s like sweet nectar smeared on the dough, and that’s what makes it sizzle in your mouth!😋

It’s a popular product that is popular with everyone from children to the elderly!🎵
MARINA buys it every time too!

MARINA’s Recommended Souvenirs from Kumamoto, No.1

『Kumamoto Yaki-Sweet-Potato』

ポテト菓房さん公式サイトより参照しております。

Not many people know about it. This souvenir is often overlooked.

Kumamoto doesn’t have much of an image of sweet potatoes, does it?
As a matter of fact, the sweet potatoes produced in Kumamoto Prefecture were even nominated at the Sweet Potato Expo!

This “Kumamoto Yaki Sweet Potato” is made with carefully selected sweet potatoes from Kumamoto Prefecture!

By taking the time to steam and bake it once, you can feel the deliciousness of the potatoes and the original flavor and umami of the potatoes!

I overlooked this great products because sweet potatoes can be found anywhere, but once I bought them as a gift, my friends loved them so much that when I went back to Kumamoto, they asked me to bring them back for them♫.
The sweet potatoes were smooth and tasty, even though they had the natural fluffiness of a sweet potato.

Ladies and gentlemen, what did you think of MARINA’s recommendations for souvenirs from Kumamoto?

For some reason, when it comes to introducing my hometown, I’m even more fired up than usual! It always takes 3 to 5 hours to write blog articles. I hope you all enjoyed it!✨

And, on a personal note, I’m planning to release my first mini-album, and on August 14, I will be releasing it digitally for 4 months in a row from each music distribution site.

A song from the mini-album will be released every month from each music distribution site.
My DEBUT SHOW CASE is scheduled to take place on November 14th at Motoyawata Route Fourteen, Chiba, and I’m going to be streaming it ahead of time so that everyone can enjoy it and there won’t be any time to rest until then, so for those of you who can’t make it to the show, I hope you’ll be able to connect with me again in this way and check out MARINA’s music so that we can meet on stage one day!

See you in the next blog!👋

MARINA’s Kumamoto Ekiben Selection!?

にほんブログ村 地域生活(街) 九州ブログ 熊本県情報へ
にほんブログ村

Hello💫This is MARINA, a singer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture. Here’s the start of this weekly blog 🎵I’m still worried about the heavy rains in western Japan, but I hope my blog will cheer you up a bit!

The theme of today’s blog, which I think some of you may be looking forward to because of the title, is “Ekiben”! I can’t help but look forward to it too 😁 I love to eat so much that I’m known as the “General Gourmand”! (LOL) I’d like to introduce Kumamoto ekibens that I’m interested in. This theme was actually a request from one of my blog readers💓Thank you very much! I’m going to start off in high spirits 🎵.

So! I’d like to introduce a popular ekiben in Kumamoto that MARINA is curious about right away! MARINA’s Ekiben Selection, entry number one !!!

『Aso Red beef』!!!!!!

Referring from Yorito Store’s website.

Aso’s red beef is famous for its lean meat with little fat as its name suggests, and it also contains the right amount of fat. They say it’s a luxurious red beef bento with two flavors to enjoy the red beef 🎵aahhhhh, it looks so delicious. It’s very colorful and very appetizing! Meat lovers will love these ekiben!

And next, the entry number 2!

A bento shop you’ll often see when you stop in Kumamoto! Hilai’s “Higo Dokoza”!

This is a reference from Higo Yokamon Market.

When I thought of Hirai-san, I had a strong image of udon noodles and side dishes, so I was surprised to see that they were selling ekiben!
As you can see from the pictures, they are packed with Kumamoto’s specialties! Kumamoto’s speciality “spicy lotus root”, “Chikuwa salad”, “Ikinari-dango”, “pickled Aso takana”, “boiled suizenji greens”, “Amakusa konoshiro gizzard”! It’s a luxurious bento made with ingredients from Kumamoto 🎵
This is the dish I want people who don’t know Kumamoto to try and feel! I think I’m getting to know Kumamoto just by eating this bento ⭐️
But between you and me, I can’t tell you this…(MARINA doesn’t like spicy lotus root 😅 lol) I’m a big fan of takana 💓Do you drool even more? I’ll introduce you to more!

Next, the entry number 3!

『Amakusa Daioh Bento』!!!!!

Reference from Yorifuji Store.

Speaking of Amakusa, don’t forget Amakusa Daioh!
This is a rare species of chicken that is only bred in Amakusa, Kumamoto 🐓!
There has been an Amakusa Daioh since the Meiji era (1868-1912) and it was said to have been extinct for a while, but it has been revived and its valuable Amakusa Daioh has been made into an ekiben!
The breast is flavored with spicy salt sauce. The chopped meat is stir-fried with burdock and soy sauce, which is a perfect match for it💓
What do you think? I’m sure you all want to try it too, right?🎵

And more, the entry number 4!!

『chestnut rice』!!!!!

This is a reference from Ekiben Information.

The colors are beautiful and the chestnut-shaped container is so cute.
All of the ekiben I’ve introduced so far are available at the Kumamoto station, but this chestnut rice is a bento sold at the Hitoyoshi station in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto!
In addition, many people seem to eat it while riding the Steam Locomotive, and it seems to be a rare ekiben that is sold at Hitoyoshi Station in the old-fashioned style.

It is said that the soil and in Hitoyoshi Kuma region is acidic and the climate is suitable for chestnut cultivation, which makes it possible to produce large, sweet and tasty chestnuts. That’s why this ekiben is produced🌰 “Kurimeshi (chestnut rice)” is available at Ekiben Yamaguchi in Hitoyoshi Station.

I put it on our list of things to eat in Kumamoto. It’s going to be popular with women and older folks! I can’t wait to eat it 💓

The next is the last one. The entry number 5!!!

『Ayuya Sandai』!!!!!

This is a reference from Ekiben Information.

A whole ayu fish! 💓!

実はこの頼藤商店さんの駅弁は全部ノミネート!阿蘇赤牛も天草大王弁当も鮎屋三代もすべて頼藤さんの商品なんです。

In fact, all of these ekiben from Yorifuji Store are nominated! Aso red beef, Amakusa Daioh bento, and Ayuya Sandai are all products made by Yorifuji Store.

There are a lot of ayu in Kuma River and there are many good places to fish them!
A whole ayu fish grown in the Kuma River is sweetened boiled. It’s really delicious 😋!

It’s slow-cooked so that you can eat the bones, which is also great!
The rice underneath the ayu is also cooked in ayu broth. So rice alone is enough for you to eat 🌟
They’re cooked to be eaten from head to tail without leaving any part, and I hope you’ll eat them!
And since it’s been ranked number one in Kyushu’s Ekiben Ranking for consecutive years, it’s a nominee on my list of things to watch out for!

I hope you all enjoyed the introduction of the ekiben. 😋
I feel like I was enjoying myself writing this 😁.
There are many ekiben that look delicious all over Japan, and I was reminded once again of the depth of ekiben in Kumamoto alone. Have you eaten any Kumamoto ekiben that you liked? I’d love to hear from you in the comments!

I’m still worried about the weather, but I’ll do my best to get to Kumamoto for the show and show the charm of the place through the images. We’ve reached our 10 goal for the crowdfunding challenge, thanks to a lot of people. Please support us until the end of the remaining three days to make the show even better! Thank you for joining us today for another MARINA blog 💓 See you next time!

MARINA researched about Kuma Village’s Great Nature

にほんブログ村 地域生活(街) 九州ブログ 熊本県情報へ

Hello, everyone〜☆ I’m MARINA, a singer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto!

This time, I’d like to introduce Kuma Village.
Where is it? What kind of place? Let’s find out!!!!!

※Photo from Kuma Village Official Website

Look at this wonderful view. Kuma Village, the south of Kumamoto, is surrounded by great nature, or rather Kuma Village itself is the nature! Villages in Kumamoto have become “Towns” recently. However, Kuma is still “Village” and I want it to remain its beautiful landscape. You must be relaxed if you just visit there!

One of Kuma Village’s attraction is 300M-year-old natural masterpiece, “calcareous cave“.

※Photo from Kyûsendô Official Website

This is the biggest calcareous cave in Kyushu called “Kyûsendô“! It had been upraised from under the sea since 300 million years ago! This is the genuine natural masterpiece, isn’t it? I haven’t been there yet but I’d love to visit in the future.

And there are lots more attractions in Kuma Village!
There are many waterfalls! You can find them in the great nature as well! They must be great touristic spots⭐️ Just images of those waterfalls make me relaxed. What’s more, one of the river stream came from the calcareous cave ∑(゚Д゚)! I will introduce two famous waterfalls!

※Photo from Kuma Village Official Website

First, “Gongen-no-Taki“. It looks so beautiful! I’d like to have BBQ at such a beautiful place.

Do you want to see another waterfall? Ok, let’s move on!

※Photo from Kuma Village Official Website

Second, “Sakaguchi-no-Taki“! This one is also good, isn’t it? The water came from several calcareous caves💖 What a mysterious waterfall! It seems that you can receive natural power from the waterfall. And this waterfall contains three small falls, so it is called “Sandango (three-tired boom)”. I want to visit there to be relaxed. Nature has a power to calm us down when we are distressed🎵 Kuma Village has such beautiful places.

I already mentioned in the last blog article, the south of Kumamoto has suffered from the great rainfall disaster. Especially, Kuma Village has got huge damage. I’d like to share this situation through my blog. And I’d like you to help them to remain those beautiful natures.

There are lots of wonderful places in Japan. But we don’t know when those places get damaged by natural disasters. I believe if we keep records of these situation, somebody will see them and understand the hardships. I hope Kuma Village will recover soon…

※Photo from Kuma Village Official Website

Actually, the local residents are really positive! I also want to give power to them. I must make my crowdfunding project successful and create my YouTube program to make them happy!
I will withdraw the charms of Kumamoto through my video contents!!!! Go Kumamoto! I’ll do my best!!!

Did you understand about Kuma Village? I want to keep updating my blog.
Thank you for reading my article every time☆ Please wait for another article💓

MARINA introduce charms of Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto!

にほんブログ村 地域生活(街) 九州ブログ 熊本県情報へ

Hello everyone! I’m MARINA, a singer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto☆

Thank you for waiting for my blog every week🎵
I have also looked forward to posting articles and reading your comments! As I already mentioned in the title, I’m writing about some attractive points of Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto

Hitoyoshi City is wonderful place with full of nature located in southern Kumamoto. It takes about 30~60 minutes from my hometown Yatsushiro City. Yatsushiro is a rural area but Hitoyoshi is also rich in nature! Therefore, the air is so clean! And you can enjoy going white-water rafting in Kuma River, one of the fastest river in Japan❤️. My great grand mother lived in Hitoyoshi, so I used to visit her once a month! Every time I visited Hitoyoshi, I always felt something relaxed!

That’s because… There are many hot springs in Hitoyoshi!

※Photo from Hitoyoshi City Official Website.

For people from other prefectures, Kurokawa Onsen is well known as hot springs in Kumamoto. However, there are more thermal spring spots in Kumamoto!
Hitoyoshi is one of the high rated hot spring spots☆. “Hitoyoshi Onsen” has its long history. It was found in 1429. The temperature of the source of Hitoyoshi Onsen is over 80 degrees Celsius.

There are a lot of public baths available and they are all wonderful. I often went to public baths and made myself feel refreshed when I visited Hitoyoshi. Good hot springs are usually found in places with rich nature! I tell you a trivia of Hitoyoshi Onsen that its hot water is soft and has skin-beautifying effect. So it’s known as “hot water of beauty“. Good news for ladies, isn’t it? (Of course, It’s also good for men, 💓 LOL) It’s even drinkable and also good for your health! There’s no reason for you not to visit there any more🎵 And Hitoyoshi has an atmosphere something like small Kyoto, somehow✨.

※Photo from Hitoyoshi City Official Website.

There are lots more in Hitoyoshi, like railways, National Treasures, and National Historic Sites so on! I would like to introduce those charms in our YouTube program “Kumamoto Yokatoko Guide“. Let’s make it come true🌟

There is a reason why I wanted to let you know about Hitoyoshi. That’s because they face very severe conditions.

※photo from Marina’s friend who joins voluntary activity.

I already mentioned in the last article, people in Hitoyoshi are suffering the heavy rainfall disaster like this in the picture. The flood has already subsided but it seems to take long time to be fully recovered. This blog could help to share this situation to many, I hope. And it can also help people in Hitoyoshi. I hope it will be recovered as soon as possible! And I want to do anything we can!

I put the donation website link again.

https://www.furusato-tax.jp/saigai/detail/877

Please share this link and give your support to those suffering areas. And I will surely make my crowdfunding project a success to encourage people in Kumamoto! I will take an action not only for Hitoyoshi but also all people suffering the disaster. So please give your hands.

You can check the details of MARINA’s crowdfunding.
※photo from Marina’s friend who joins voluntary activity.

I hope everything will be alright, and everybody will be safe soon.

Thank you for reading this article today! I’ll do my best to encourage people!!! Let’s overcome this hard time! And see you next article 💓

Hello, everybody.
I’m MARINA, a performing and singing artist from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture!

You must know that heavy rainfall disaster hit Kumamoto recently.

I am actually living in Tokyo now, so I haven’t suffered directly so far.
However, Kumamoto and its neighboring Kagoshima Prefecture are still under serious situation. Some passed away due to the floods or landslides, and others still waiting for rescues.

Especially, my hometown Yatsushiro City has got serious damage. My relatives are staying in an evacuation shelter. Many are still spending sleepless nights.

I’v been also worried about them. I’m still wondering if there is something I can do for them. All I can do now is checking if my friends are ok, or calling to the local fire station, or share the info with my blog like this.

I hesitated a bit to tell you with this timing, I think there is something only I can do. So I will surely make my YouTube channel “Kumamoto Yokatoko Guide” and its crowdfunding project a success. And that will support Kumamoto.

I really appreciate our supporters. We pray for Kumamoto to recover soon, and I will focus on what I can do right now.

(大雨により浸水被害を受けている熊本の一部地域)※友人よりお借りしている画像です。

And there is one thing I would like to ask of you.

I show you URLs of some donation website for Kumamoto rainfall disaster. So I would like you to share these links. They can help those who suffer in Kumamoto.

https://www.furusato-tax.jp/saigai/detail/881

https://www.furusato-tax.jp/saigai/detail/877

These donation programs use the scheme of Hometown Tax Donation Program. Those money will be delivered to the local governments.

There still be some people waiting for rescue in Kuma Village. I hope nothing will happen more and everybody will be alright. We will make our crowdfunding a success and support Kumamoto! Please help me!

Let’s do our best to do what we can now!

Thank you for reading this article! I always check your comments. Thank you for your encouraging comments as well. See you next time.

【MARINA’s Choice】Introduction of Specialties of Kumamoto!

にほんブログ村 地域生活(街) 九州ブログ 熊本県情報へ
にほんブログ村

Hello~ everybody!I’m a dance and singing performer MARINA from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto🎤 It’s been a week since the last blog post. Time flies… It looks rainy days continue in Tokyo☔️ I’m already scared of hot weather after rainy season. LOL. So today, I’d like to introduce my favorite local specialties of Kumamoto !

Kumamoto has its rich nature ! Therefore, Kumamoto foods are, of course, DELICIOUS ! I’ve been in Kanto Region for a decade but I often want to eat Kumamoto foods😋 I can’t forget foods in Kyushu Region because its taste is so rich❤️ Let me introduce MARINA’s recommendations!

First, Kumamoto’s representative specialty !

BASASHI (Horse Meat Sashimi)

※These pics are provided by MARINA’s friend in Kumamoto.

You may not know but… Kumamoto is famous for BASASHI (Horse Meat Sashimi) ! Kumamoto’s basashi is number 1 in Japan. It’s King of Basashi🐴❤️ You can dip it in Kyushu’s sweet soy source with graded garlic or ginger. It must be sooooo delicious😋 !!! Since horses are grown up in Kumamoto’s great nature, the meat is really yummy ! You can see its great taste even in these photos. But if you actually taste it, you will know it doesn’t have any bad smell and it’s really tasty. You can also see beautiful marbling. I really want you to eat basashi !

Next one is also famous specialty of Kumamoto!

Banpeiyu

※This photo is provided by MARINA’s friend in Kumamoto.

This may surprise you, right? Orange🍊? But the colour looks like a grapefruit… No way ! It’s too big, isn’t it!!! You might think it can’t be! As you can see in this photo, this fruit is bigger than not only your hand but even your face. This is called “BANPEIYU“. It’s actually the specialty of MARINA’s home town Yatsushiro City! Everybody is surprised when they see it first time😲. I haven’t care about its size because I’ve seen it since I was child, though. The taste? It’s similar to grapefruit but less sweet. The pulp is not so big but the skin. So usually, people in Kumamoto peel the skin😋 But, However ! You can eat the skin as well ! The skin is preserved in syrup, and you can dust it with sugar❤️ Banpeiyu is used in many different way, like put them into bath tab and enjoy its aroma, or display it in your house to celebrate something, etc! Are you interested?😉 Please try.

How do you think about my recommendations? There is a lot more I would like to tell you but I should stop now. I want to introduce more but it will be in another time. Thank you for reading MARINA’s blog again!

See you in next article💓 Love ya〜💕 by MARINA!

MARINA’s Kumamoto Dialect Lesson!

にほんブログ村 地域生活(街) 九州ブログ 熊本県情報へ
にほんブログ村

Hello, everyone! Thank you for reading this blog.

I’m Marina, a dance and singing performer from Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto!
The rainy season has already begun in Tokyo. It’s been humid these days but how have you been?😆✨ Bad weather may make you down but I will make you smile with this blog!
So, today’s theme is Very Easy! MARINA’s Kumamoto Dialect Lesson! 🐻❤️

This is actually MARINA’s way of teaching, so go easy on me, please!

Let’s start~🎵 Now, the first Kumamoto dialect is…⭐️

【You (Standard Japanese: ANATA)】
in Kumamoto Dialect : "Aata" or "Ata".

If you say “Where do you come from?” in Standard Japanese, it will be “Anata wa doko kara kita no?”. However, in Kumamoto dialect, it becomes “Ata, doko kara kitato ne?“. People in Kumamoto say this phrase softly.

Next⭐️

【It cannot be helped.(Standard Japanese: Shikata-nai / Doushiyou-mo-nai)】
in Kumamoto Dialect: "Shon-nashi" or "Shon-naka-gota".

Standard Japanese: “Doko wo sagashite mo nakatta kara shikata-nai ne.” (Even though you searched everywhere, you couldn’t find it. So it cannot be helped.)

Kumamoto Dialect: “Doko sagashitemo nakaddaken, shon-naka tai ne!“.
You may easily give up your lost item if you say like this in Kumamoto dialect ….or maybe not. LOL.

You may like next one❤️

【To like, to love (Standard Japanese: SUKI)】
in Kumamoto Dialect: "Suitoru", "Suitoru-bai", or "Sukitsu-tai".

Standard Japanese “Anata no koto ga suki!” (I love you!) will be “Aata no koto suitoru-bai!” in Kumamoto dialect♡. Hakata (Fukuoka Prefecture) dialect “Suki-yaken” or “Suki-bai” are also commonly used in Kumamoto.
